Phoenix Partners Group Will Donate 100% of Their Revenues to Charity on Feb 12th, 2013

Global interdealer broker Phoenix Partners Group kicks off its 7th annual Charity Day with a promise to continue to build the Phoenix Foundation’s legacy of charitable success

NEW YORK & LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Phoenix Partners Group LP, a global interdealer broker, which will be registering as a SEF (Swap Execution Facility) in the United States, will donate 100% of the revenues it generates on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 to The Phoenix Foundation, Phoenix’s charitable arm.

Phoenix held its first Charity Day in 2007 after the untimely death of employee Josh Sawyer, who lost his battle to cancer at the young age of 28. This first charity day was held on what would have been Josh’s 29th birthday. Since 2007, the firm has used Charity Day as a way to commemorate not only the life of Josh but other employees that it has lost along the way. Phoenix’s London office uses Charity Day to commemorate the loss and celebrate the memory of Jerome Thibaud, who likewise tragically died at the age of 29.

Today, Phoenix carries out its charitable efforts and operates all donations under the Phoenix Foundation, which was established to provide direct financial support to non-profit charities working with the underprivileged and at risk among us, particularly children and the elderly, the underprivileged, and people in need, in the greater communities of New York City and London, where the firm operates its business.
