Turner Investments names four new principals

Of the firm’s 95 employees, 79 now hold equity ownership

BERWYN, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Turner Investments has awarded equity ownership to four employees. With their appointments, 79 employees, or 83% of the firm’s 95-person workforce, are now principals.

The principalships reward employees who have helped the firm to serve clients well in terms of investment performance and service. Turner Investments, founded in 1990, is an investment firm based in Berwyn, Pennsylvania. As of December 31, 2012, Turner managed more than $10 billion in growth, global/international, and long/short investment portfolios in stocks for both institutions and individuals.

The following employees were named principals:

• Frank Desharnais, 52, director of performance reporting. A resident of Audubon, Pennsylvania, he earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Pace University in 1983. He joined Turner in 2010.
• Justin Edell, 33, director, Private Client Group. He earned his master’s degree in business administration from Elmhurst College in 2008 and his bachelor’s degree in international business from Saint Mary’s University in 2001. He joined Turner in 2009 and lives in La Grange, Illinois.
• Rebecca Gray, 29, director, Strategic Relationships Group. A resident of New York City, she earned a bachelor of science degree in business from Liberty University in 2004. She joined Turner in 2006.
• Dan Holloway, 40, associate, Private Client Group. He earned a bachelor of arts degree in sociology from West Virginia University in 1996. He joined Turner in 2009 and is a resident of Harleysville, Pennsylvania.
