Janney Montgomery Scott Appoints Veteran Branch Manager to Lead Consolidated Office in southern New Jersey

PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Janney Montgomery Scott LLC (“Janney”), a leading full-service wealth management, financial services and investment banking firm headquartered in Philadelphia, Pa., announces the appointment of Stephen Marchel as branch manager of the Firm’s expanded Linwood, NJ branch office. Marchel previously served in the same role at Janney’s former Margate, NJ office, which was recently merged into the Linwood location.

Marchel has more than 25 years of industry experience. He began his career as an institutional trader in New York City, before joining Janney in 2008 as Branch Manager. He is a graduate of Yale University, where he earned a B.S. and was recognized as a First-Team All-Ivy League baseball player. A strong proponent of community involvement, Marchel is a founding board member of Gilda’s Club South Jersey, an organization offering social and emotional support to those affected by, or living with, cancer. He also serves as a board member of the Margate Little League, as is local chairman of the Yale University Alumni Schools Committee.
