NASHVILLE, Tenn.--()--Officials with information technology company ReadyPoint announced today that they were recently selected by Illini Community Hospital to automate “incident management” services in its facility through their StandTo™ technology.
“Illini continues to respond to the changing healthcare needs of our community by keeping pace with technology and providing services that are essential to delivering high quality care”
Illini Community Hospital, located in Pittsfield, Ill., is a not-for-profit, critical access hospital that is one of six entities of the Blessing Health System, and serves seven counties in West Central Illinois.
In recent months, Illini utilized their hospital emergency preparedness coordinator to conduct a comprehensive review of existing incident management systems. Ultimately, they selected ReadyPoint’s StandTo™ as their primary technology platform.
“Our national healthcare landscape changes rapidly and hospitals need to prepare for those changes and any unforeseen events,” says Chris Riddle, founder and president of ReadyPoint Systems. “Our technology enables hospitals to manage a wide-range of unplanned events, and allows that local community to feel confident and assured that their hospital is prepared for any event.”
Shaped by more than 25 years of “real world” hospital experience, ReadyPoint is an information technology company whose suite of innovative software services helps hospitals improve processes that enhance both the quality and safety of care.
“Illini continues to respond to the changing healthcare needs of our community by keeping pace with technology and providing services that are essential to delivering high quality care,” says Kathy Willman, emergency preparedness coordinator of Illini Community Hospital. “We recently completed our first two drills using the StandTo™ technology, and I am confident that this system will be of vital importance during any emergency once fully implemented.”
Illini chose to automate their incident management systems in order to improve efficiency, increase the accuracy of incident documentation and streamline resources.
“Even though incidents are few and far between, we want the community to know we are well prepared to handle them. This technology allows us to conduct more effective emergency preparedness exercises, which ensures we’ll be equipped to provide safety across a wider region of Illinois,” says Kathy Willman.
ReadyPoint’s StandTo™ technology – a web-based incident management system that automates a healthcare facility’s incident management services – is used by more than 150 hospitals across the nation. Incident management services are the protocols and procedures that hospitals follow to manage emergency and other non-regular incidents that may occur within an organization.
Illini is utilizing the StandTo™ system to conduct emergency preparedness exercises and to manage actual crisis events.
