PreCision Dermatology Announces Executive Leadership Transition

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--PreCision Dermatology, Inc., a leader in developing and commercializing novel, prescription and physician dispensed products for improving skin health, announced today the appointment of Robert Moccia to the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer. In that role, all operating functions of PreCision will report to Mr. Moccia. In addition, Mr. Moccia will serve as the President of Onset Dermatologics, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of PreCision Dermatology. Mr. Moccia joins PreCision Dermatology with more than 30 years of experience in companies focused on pharmaceutical dermatology including, Medicis Pharmaceuticals, Graceway Pharmaceuticals, Chester Valley Pharmaceuticals, Bioglan, Dermik Laboratories and Stiefel Labs. Jeffrey Nugent, the founder and CEO of PreCision, will assist with the transition as a Senior Advisor to the Company.

Mr. Moccia was previously Senior Vice President of Business Development for Medicis Pharmaceuticals. Prior to his role at Medicis, he served as President, Chief Operating Officer and member of the Board of Directors of Graceway Pharmaceuticals from its inception until its acquisition by Medicis. Prior to his tenure at Graceway, Bob was the President and CEO of Chester Valley Pharmaceuticals, a company which he co-founded and which was later merged into Graceway. Bob’s first executive role was as President of US operations for Bioglan Pharmaceuticals Company, a UK based company which was successfully sold to Bradley Pharmaceuticals.
