BOSTON--()--Expect Miracles Foundation – Financial Services Against Cancer, today announced it has been named Charity Partner for the 19th Annual Venture Capital & Private Equity Conference, hosted by The Venture Capital & Private Equity Club, a student organization at Harvard Business School. With the theme “Navigating Change, Discovering Value,” the conference, which is expected to attract some 800 attendees, will provide a forum for private equity and venture capital professionals, academics and students to reflect on the evolving landscape of private equity and venture capital. The event will take place March 1 and 2, 2013, on the Harvard Business School campus in Boston.
Founded in 1995, Expect Miracles Foundation, formerly Mutual Funds Against Cancer, is one of the leading advocates in the fight against cancer within the financial services industry. The Foundation has raised more than $8 million through events and programs, including the Expect Miracles East and West Coast Golf Classics, Expect Miracles Wine & Spirits Charity Event, and its newest initiative, the Miracle Maker Leadership Council. In addition to fundraising, the Foundation is committed to recognizing individuals and firms within the financial community for their outstanding commitment and dedication to the fight against cancer through the Expect Miracles Awards.
