“Co-op: Up Close” is a free-to-attend science and engineering event, offering high school student participants a unique opportunity to better understand the benefits of cooperative education. During the two-hour session, participants will have an opportunity to tour the facility and ask questions of Kettering co-op students. Kettering University staff will be on-hand to provide information and answer questions.
Kettering University offers innovative, hands-on education in engineering, math, science and business disciplines. The “Kettering Advantage” program balances highly targeted experiential learning with professional cooperative education, creating a formula in which students alternate between in-classroom learning and full-time co-op employment. As a result, “Kettering Advantage” graduates simultaneously earn a degree and relevant hands-on industry experience.
