AUSTIN, Texas--()--Municipal Services Bureau (“MSB”) is teaming with Texas courts statewide to remind people with outstanding warrants to pay their unresolved fines and fees while they still have time. The process, known as “Warrant Round-Up,” provides individuals a grace period before constables in each participating jurisdiction begin knocking on doors or visiting places of business to enforce the warrants. MSB collects delinquent court fines and fees throughout the State of Texas and nationwide.
“We are giving defendants the chance to pay off their balances before the annual statewide Warrant Round-Up begins. If you receive a letter or a phone call from us, please take advantage of the opportunity to clear your name”
“We are giving defendants the chance to pay off their balances before the annual statewide Warrant Round-Up begins. If you receive a letter or a phone call from us, please take advantage of the opportunity to clear your name,” said Bruce Cummings, Chief Executive Officer of MSB. The Warrant Round-Up begins March 2nd, so defendants with outstanding fines still have time to resolve their obligations before facing potential arrest.
“We’re helping both courts and defendants expedite resolution of these cases, especially since it may be an older fine or fee,” Cummings added. The Company has already started sending letter notifications to defendants. MSB will continue to collect on all cases in a delinquent status to increase compliance for the courts.
