AUSTIN, Texas--()--MileStone Community Builders, LLC announced today that it will build two playhouses to be auctioned off during ECHO’s Amplify Austin Event. ECHO has nearly 1000 individuals engaging with City and County leaders interested in ending homelessness. The ECHO Amplify Austin project is designed to create awareness of the need for affordable housing and to help end homelessness in Austin. With nearly 2000 children in Austin schools homeless, Austin needs more affordable housing so that all families have a place to call home.

The completed MileStone playhouses will be on public display beginning February 28 – March 5, 2013 and placed at Austin City Hall and at Back Home with a 2wist, which is adjacent to Central Market. Information about how to bid on the houses will be available at each playhouse and online. Bids on the playhouses will be taken from 3pm on Wednesday, February 27 thru 3pm on Monday, March 4. The highest bidder will make the donation during the Amplify Austin Event, March 4-5, 2013.
