Grant Thornton Ranked Among Training Top 125 for Fourth Consecutive Year

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Training magazine, the leading business publication for learning, development and HR professionals, has ranked Grant Thornton LLP at No. 33 on its annual Top 125 list for excellence in employer-sponsored training and development programs. The rankings were unveiled Monday at an awards gala at the Training 2013 Conference & Expo in Orlando, Fla.

Each year, Training magazine nominates organizations for its Top 125 list based on a variety of different benchmarking statistics, including:

• total training budget;
• percentage of payroll;
• number of training hours per employee program;
• goals, evaluation, measurement, and workplace surveys;
• hours of training per employee annually; and
• detailed formal programs

The final ranking is determined by assessing a range of qualitative and quantitative factors, including financial investment in employee development, the scope of development programs and how closely such development efforts are linked to business goals and objectives.
