MIT Sloan to Host Latin America’s Top Policy Makers and CEOs

XVI MIT Latin American Conference to explore new markets, entrepreneurship and sustainable government policies

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--On March 2, 2013, the XVI Annual MIT Latin American Conference will gather leading policy makers, CEOs, entrepreneurs and academics from across the continent under one roof. The conference will kick off at 8am at the Tang Center’s Wong Auditorium, Building E51 on the MIT Sloan campus.

Four panels will focus on these timely topics:

  CEOs will explore how consumer needs have changed as a growing middle class has evolved, and how these changes have affected ways of doing business.

• Entrepreneurs: What do we need to have more of them?
  This panel will explore the role of entrepreneurship in Latin America, the challenges entrepreneurs currently face, the role their governments must play as a facilitator, and the availability of resources necessary for becoming a successful company.
