Nintex Forms 2013 and Nintex Workflow for Project Server 2013 Now Available

Entire product line now integrates seamlessly with SharePoint 2013

BELLEVUE, Wash.--()--Nintex (www.nintex.com), the world’s leading SharePoint workflow company, today announced the availability of Nintex Forms 2013 and Nintex Workflow for Project Server 2013. Both products enhance workflow and project management in SharePoint 2013 and Project Server 2013 and continue a steady stream of investment and innovation.

“Processes can easily include customers, vendors, partners, and employees who aren’t at the office. SharePoint customers loved our 2010 edition, and they’re going to love this 2013 release.”

The new versions are tailor-made for early adopters of SharePoint 2013 and Project Server 2013. They also contain new innovations that extend business process automation to more people, places, devices, and social media channels, continuing the Nintex vision of delivering ‘Workflow For Everyone’.

Nintex Forms 2013

Nintex Forms 2013 enables business users and developers to transform SharePoint content into sophisticated, process-driven applications without needing to write a single line of code. Starting with automatically-generated forms, users can quickly customize the look and feel of their applications through a browser-based designer, and then leverage an advanced rules engine to enforce presentation logic. Forms can then be optimized for different devices and screen sizes, and then published to the intranet or Internet with a single click. Nintex Forms also helps customers extend their investment in Nintex Workflow, connecting forms to processes, integrating with line of business systems, and leveraging cloud services.

“Nintex Forms are SharePoint-native, mobile-enabled, workflow-aware, and cloud-ready. They can be built and managed easily, and they look great,” said Mike Fitzmaurice, Nintex vice president of product technology. “Processes can easily include customers, vendors, partners, and employees who aren’t at the office. SharePoint customers loved our 2010 edition, and they’re going to love this 2013 release.”

Nintex Workflow for Project Server 2013

Nintex Workflow for Project Server 2013 allows project and portfolio managers to design and implement end-to-end workflows with a drag-and-drop interface, without the need for a single line of code or lengthy development cycle. Its browser-based designer embedded within Microsoft Project Server allows project and portfolio managers to create demand management and event driven workflows, track project status and review reports all within the browser, all without the need for additional software. The 2013 version provides support for the new security models within Project Server 2013, while continuing to provide easy querying, publishing, and debugging capabilities for designing demand management workflows. With event-driven workflows, processes can automatically attend to events like a timesheet submission, a project’s publishing, or a resource’s creation.

“Leveraging Nintex Workflow for Project Server empowers project and portfolio managers to implement no-code workflows and ensure project lifecycle governance,” said Alberto Sutton, Nintex vice president of product management. “Users can deploy workflows to better manage tasks, events, resources, and artifacts. This helps improve decision making with workflows connected to key business systems without adding to IT’s management burden.”
