IRVINE, Calif.--()--Baja Fresh Mexican Grill, the quick-casual fresh Mexican chain, announced the opening of its newest Baja Fresh Express in Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
“We are excited to add Baja Fresh Express to our group of restaurants at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The Baja Fresh brand fits into our company’s mission to provide fresh quality products with great service.”
The new restaurant has been designed to fit within the new Baja Fresh Express prototype which encompasses Baja Fresh Express’ latest restaurant design, service and customizable menu. Customers will notice a distinctly new look with the use of natural wood and warm colors in this updated design. Additionally, the menu is designed to incorporate more customization with a build your own burrito section.
“I was impressed with Baja’s product quality. I was thrilled with the fresh ingredients and preparation of Baja’s entrées. I have been in the restaurant business for over 41 years and have seen how shortcuts can diminish the quality of a brand's food in order to save a buck. I knew Baja Fresh would be a winner at the airport, the favorable response has been wonderful,” said Mack Wilbourn, President of Mack II, Inc.
The 752 square foot Baja Fresh Express is owned and operated by Mack II Inc. who also operates Popeye’s Chicken and Checkers Hamburger franchises in the Atlanta International Airport.
"We are pleased with our newest Baja Fresh Express prototype in the Atlanta International Airport. We feel strongly that Baja Fresh Express delivers exactly what busy travelers are looking for, freshly prepared Mexican food that they can customize to their liking,” says Chuck Rink, President and CEO of Baja Fresh. “Our recent restaurant openings in airports and universities such as California State University Fullerton provides us with a unique brand for a number of non-traditional restaurant opportunities.”
Mack Wilbourn concluded, “We are excited to add Baja Fresh Express to our group of restaurants at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The Baja Fresh brand fits into our company’s mission to provide fresh quality products with great service.”
