LEATHERHEAD, England--()--The Environmental Science Forum has confirmed two conferences to be held in Germany at the Holiday Inn, Dusseldorf City Centre-Konigsallee, from 4-6 June 2013. The forum combine two conference programmes to create Europe’s foremost gathering of scientists researching the chemical and physical pathway of agricultural and pharmaceutical products through the biosphere.
The final programme is due to be released in the coming weeks. At this time Smithers Viscient are inviting submissions for paper proposals. The deadline is 11 March 2013. Paper proposals should include a title and short summary, along with your name, job title and organisation and should be sent to the conference producer Alix Reeves, areeves@smithers.com
The co-located conferences are attended by experts in the following areas; toxicology, ecotoxicology, study directors, R&D managers and regulatory affairs professionals from across the agrochemical, industrial chemical and pharmaceutical sectors. Job roles include; Business Managers, Toxicologists/Ecotoxicologists, Head of Metabolism, Contract Research Organisation, Research Institutes and Academies, and Regulators and more.
Advances in Metabolism and Degradation Science, taking place from 5-6 June 2013, covers the advancing studies and new techniques to meet the changing regulations and guidelines that manufacturers of agrochemicals, industrial chemicals and pharmaceuticals are facing. Several of the key themes which are being invited to present include: current and future regulations, OCED, pesticides, chiral chromatography, novel procedures, radio HPLC and TLC. Endocrine Disruptors, taking place from 4-5 June 2013, is due to address key topics related to the evaluation of adverse effects on the endocrine system and corresponding regulatory requirements. Some of the themes that the Endocrine Disruptors conference will cover include; OECD framework, EU testing scheme, EPA’s EDSP, dose response ranges, EDC’s and food contact, evaluation of in vitro and in vivo test methods.
