LOS ANGELES--()--Eccentex Corporation, a provider of platform-as-a-service (PaaS) applications for Dynamic Case Management (DCM), today announced a teaming agreement with Capgemini America, Inc., a global leader in consulting, technology and outsourcing services, to introduce a Dynamic Case Management (DCM) solution tailored to the growing energy and utilities market.
“After successful deployments of DCM management solutions for utility and energy providers in the past, we believe this collaboration will be another step for streamlining and improving the way in which cases are handled for the better.”
Capgemini works with the top 10 utilities worldwide and has teamed with Eccentex to help energy and utility companies capture, manage and resolve complex business problems as infrastructure, process and regulatory changes continue to transform the industry. This collaboration will help companies address the most significant challenges in the energy and utility space, including managing risk, compliance and exceptions driven from the introduction of new technology, like smart meters and smart grids, as well as the regulatory requirements that come with new offerings.
It is critical for these energy and utility organizations to be able to handle the increased data flow and turn this data into business intelligence, which involves a tremendous amount of exception processing and risk mitigation to ensure customers, grids, pipelines, and other components are maintained and managed effectively. Capgemini and Eccentex will offer a software solution for utilities to manage complex exceptions and related processes while reducing inefficiencies, improving overall system satisfaction, delivering solutions more quickly and easily, and reducing risk.
Through this agreement, Capgemini clients will be able to seamlessly incorporate Capgemini technology with the AppBase platform to provide a customizable solution to best meet individual and unique case management needs. Eccentex has deployed its AppBase platform to help in the streamlining of data collection and archives, which in turn reduces the risk of compromising situations due to incomplete information.
“We are enthusiastic to begin building out our solution to solve the case management needs of utility customers with such a well-regarded and acclaimed company as Capgemini,” said Glen Schrank, CEO of Eccentex. “After successful deployments of DCM management solutions for utility and energy providers in the past, we believe this collaboration will be another step for streamlining and improving the way in which cases are handled for the better.”
