Ideaca Poised for a Strong 2013 with Share Buyback and New Investor Announcement

TORONTO, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ideaca, a Canadian-based consulting firm that helps customers through a portfolio of management consulting, implementation and support services, will be buying back over 90% of shares held by venture capital firm XDLi. This announcement coincides with the expiry of the fund and concludes an investment made by XDLi in 2000, when Ideaca was founded.

Michael Bregman of XDLi is staying involved personally with Ideaca as both a board member and a shareholder.

Ideaca is also pleased to announce that Bill Holland, Chairman of CI funds and a successful Canadian business and philanthropic leader, will be a new investor in the company. As well, Ideaca’s board has recently approved an employee stock purchase plan scheduled to begin in 2013.
