The March 2013 edition of the Journal of Drugs and Dermatology published a new study by board-certified dermatologist James Spencer, MD, on the effects of sunscreen plus PrecisionMD’s cosmetic Celfix DNA™ Youth Recovery™ Facial Serum. The results of the study showed the following reduction in biomarkers of skin aging:

1. A decrease in pyrimidine dimers, in 18 out of 19 patients, for an average reduction of 53%.
2. A decrease in p53 alteration, in 18 out of 19 patients, for an average reduction of 36%.
3. A 73.7% reduction in the appearance of pigmentation (brown spots) and 63.2% in redness (erythema) as measured by a colorimeter device.
