Experienced Executive, Robert W. Mohs, Joins Chicago Team

CHICAGO & BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sterne, Agee & Leach, Inc., one of the oldest and largest privately-owned investment banking and brokerage firms in the country, has expanded its Chicago Private Client Group, located in Willis Tower, with the addition of a managing director.

Robert W. Mohs joins Sterne Agee as a Managing Director with the Private Client Group in Chicago. Mohs has over 25 years of experience in financial planning and securities trading. Prior to joining Sterne Agee, Mohs was with Raymond James & Associates. Additionally, Mohs has experience as an institutional trader and has designed and executed retirement plans for numerous individuals and institutions. In his new role with Sterne Agee, Mohs will concentrate on retirement planning and investment advisory, plus, he will assist with growing Sterne Agee’s Chicago office.

Mohs is a graduate of St. Johns University in Minnesota, attended graduate school at Kansas State University, and completed courses at Roosevelt University and the University of Chicago. He is active in several local charitable organizations and currently serves as President of the Center for Advancing Domestic Peace.
