Opened in February 2013 in Fort Worth, Texas, the clinic is the first of what Cawley hopes to be hundreds of successful Thinique franchises across the country.

With Thinique, Cawley has taken her original medical weight loss start-up, Elite Weight Loss and Wellness Centers, to the world of franchising.

“My success with Elite is what convinced me I had the makings of something remarkable,” Cawley said. “If we could go from a fledgling start-up with a staff of two to the premier medical weight loss provider in the Dallas-Fort Worth area as fast as we did, I knew I could take our approach to the national level.”

To help her do so, Cawley immediately began working with a leading franchising organization to properly name, brand and market the Thinique concept. Clearly, the concept and business model has resonated with the public.

Although open just one month, Thinique has a wait list for new patients, with many current patients driving an hour or more for evaluations, plan development and monitoring.
