NEW ORLEANS--()--Orion Health, the leader in eHealth technology, today announced Orion Health Rhapsody Mobile, two apps that enable Orion Health Rhapsody Integration Engine users to monitor their engine and connected network through iOS and Android smartphones, in real-time and from any location. Rhapsody Mobile, which complements Rhapsody’s existing e-mail and SMS alert capabilities and its web-based Management Console, provides up-to-the-minute visibility into the health of the Rhapsody Integration Engine and its connected network. The new apps empower IT staff to remotely identify and immediately address network issues, which facilitates system uptime and optimal performance, and offers greater convenience and flexibility for integration engine users. The end result is a more stable IT environment and more reliable delivery of clinical and administrative data needed for high-quality patient care. Rhapsody Mobile is the first to provide native apps for both iOS and Android that allow mobile access to integration engine data via smartphones. Orion Health debuted Rhapsody Mobile at HIMSS13 (booth #3161).
“Rhapsody Mobile marks another step in Orion Health’s efforts to provide our hospital, health system and public health customers with extensible IT solutions that drive improvements in care delivery and organizational efficiency”
Rhapsody Mobile extends the monitoring capabilities available to Rhapsody Integration Engine users, offering time savings, efficiencies and system reliability through a number of key smartphone-enabled features, including:
- Alert details and management – Users can see alert lists and details, and dismiss or reactivate them
- Remedial action – Components can be started, stopped and restarted
- Alert filtering – Enables easy and fast analysis and action away from a workstation
- Real-time Error Queue details – Ensures the most critical events are quickly identified, helps meet service level agreements (SLAs)
- Integration with email notifications – For ‘push’ updates of alerts
- Native iPhone and Android apps – Enables upgrade to new versions of Rhapsody Mobile software at any time, without requiring updates of the user’s software environment
“As a technology leader, it is our pleasure to partner with Orion Health to pilot the new Rhapsody Mobile application,” said Sulabh Srivastava, Chief Technology Officer, Sparrow Health System, in Lansing, Michigan. “This application will provide our interface analysts with a quick, convenient means of identifying and addressing data exchange problems as soon as they occur, greatly speeding time-to-resolution and supporting the clinical communications that are necessary for delivering high-quality patient care. By enabling us to monitor our connected IT environment from any location and immediately respond to issues, Rhapsody Mobile will enhance clinician satisfaction and help us drive improvements in operational efficiency.”
“Rhapsody Mobile marks another step in Orion Health’s efforts to provide our hospital, health system and public health customers with extensible IT solutions that drive improvements in care delivery and organizational efficiency,” said Paul Viskovich, president, Orion Health North America. “Rhapsody Mobile affords our customers a quick and easy way to monitor their application interfaces and respond to issues as soon as they arise, anytime and anywhere.”
