TAMPA & ORLANDO, Fla.--()--The Florida Venture Forum will host its Sixth Annual Early Capital Conference at the Reunion Resort in Orlando, Florida, Wednesday, May 15, 2013. The Florida Venture Forum is now calling for outstanding private Florida companies to apply to be presenters at the conference. The Florida Venture Forum is Florida’s premier organization focused on assisting entrepreneurs of emerging companies as they develop their businesses and raise capital.
The principle purpose of the annual conference is to showcase approximately 15-20 early stage, high growth private companies before a national audience of venture capitalists, angel investors, private equity investors, and service providers. The Forum seeks companies that are entering or in their commercialization phase. Typically investment funding at this stage is sought to finance expanded management staffing, company infrastructure, operations, and sales and marketing. Companies should have dedicated management teams, proprietary technology, high growth potential and currently be seeking early stage funding.
Companies wishing to submit an application to present at the conference must e-mail the Executive Summary Form on the website to pat@floridaventureforum.org. Potential presenters are encouraged to apply by the early deadline of Monday, March 18, 2013. Note the final deadline is Friday, April 19, 2013. The executive summaries will be reviewed by a selection committee comprised of angel investors and venture capitalists. As part of its continued efforts to extend its outreach throughout Florida and the southeastern U.S., the Florida Venture Forum is developing an effective entrepreneurial network to assist with sourcing and ongoing support of early stage companies.
The Florida Venture Forum is looking for outstanding entrepreneurial companies in all industries throughout the state of Florida. The selected presenters are not only profiled before a national investor audience, but they also receive substantial coaching and education in areas such as business plan writing, public speaking (and “pitching”) and capital infusion negotiations.
Sponsorships are also available for the 2013 Early Stage Conference, ranging from $2500 (University Level) to $7500 (Presenting Level). Details are available on the Forum’s website. Get involved TODAY to be part of this major annual event!
