LONDON--()--Following the redesign of Audioboo’s desktop platform, the social sound network has launched an updated version of its Android smartphone and tablet application. It comprises new and improved features and upgraded functionality, making it easier to record, discover and share audio.
The new app, which has undergone an exciting makeover, includes improved navigation and usability, as well as redesigned graphics. The app also boasts enhanced search functionality, improving discoverability on the platform. Additionally, Audioboo users now have the option to download their favourite ‘boos’ directly to their smartphone or desktop computer and categorise favourite content within boards.
The launch of the newly improved app comes after the recent unveiling of the Audioboo website, which has also been subject to improvements in regards to visuals, functionality and navigation.
Rob Proctor, CEO of Audioboo, said: “We are thrilled to launch the new and improved Android mobile app, as it is another milestone in what is proving to be a very exciting year. We were conscious that our previous offering wasn’t hitting the mark so we made it our mission to provide our users with a first class app. So far, feedback on both the app and the desktop platform has been very positive and it is humbling to know that our hard work has been so well received by our fantastic community of individual, brand and media users.”
The new app can be found by downloading ‘Audioboo Two Beta’ from Google play. Users are requested to first remove the old Audioboo Android app from their device before installing the new one.
