Eyelit Inc. Announces its 15th Consecutive Year of Profits and Growth for 2012

Eyelit’s global expansion and new Manufacturing Execution System (MES) products in 2012 attract customers in back-end semiconductor and discrete assembly industries

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Eyelit Inc., a manufacturing software provider for visibility, control, and coordination of manufacturing operations for the aerospace & defense, discrete electronics, semiconductor, and photovoltaic (solar) industries, announced today its growth and profit, as well as significant business and product achievements, during the 2012 fiscal year.

Business results

With year-over-year growth highlighted by substantial revenue growth over the first three quarters, 2012 marked the 15^th consecutive year that Eyelit has been profitable since it was founded in 1997. The company also has a very positive outlook for 2013, with a record number of concurrent projects underway across four continents and a strong pipeline developed in the fourth quarter of 2012. Eyelit continued to expand its customer base, globally and in key industry segments. The deployment at TowerJazz Japan’s state-of-the-art foundry fab was extremely significant, with Eyelit serving as TowerJazz Japan’s prime contractor. Eyelit also experienced continued growth through MEMS manufacturing and strategic back-end semiconductor and display industry projects.

Eyelit’s professional services revenues grew by 50 percent in 2012. The company also doubled its professional services staff, including additional new hires in Europe to facilitate rapid business growth. A record number of customer migrations from legacy systems to Eyelit MES are driving the expansion of Eyelit’s global presence.

The release of Version 5.0 and powerful new modules in 2012 has elevated Eyelit’s product suite to new heights. Customers in all manufacturing industry segments have embraced Eyelit Automated Data Services™ and Eyelit Mobile Web Portal™ for lowering the cost of automation and integration, and improving visibility of factory performance through “anywhere access.” This year, Eyelit will introduce new, innovative features that it has been developing in close collaboration with customers during implementation projects in 2012 and 2013. New capabilities for operational reporting, advanced, real-time dispatching, recipe management, and special processing have proved to be extremely valuable to front-end and back-end semiconductor, as well as discrete electronics companies. Eyelit will formally roll out its new modules in 2013.
