LOUISVILLE, Ky.--()--The Physicians’ Network (TPN), an association representing the interests of physicians in independent and small group practices in the Commonwealth, has renewed its Medicaid contract with CoventryCares of Kentucky.
“We are very pleased to be continuing our relationship with them as we work together to serve the health and well-being of our communities.”
Since 1994, TPN has helped independent physicians successfully serve the needs of patients in managed care plans. TPN’s membership comprises more than 600 physicians in 25 counties across the central and eastern regions of Kentucky. With the renewal of this agreement, which is effective March 1, CoventryCares members can continue to access TPN’s extensive network at in-network benefit levels.
“TPN’s physicians play an important role in promoting the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective health care to Kentucky’s citizens, particularly in some of the state’s most rural areas,” said Michael Murphy, CEO of CoventryCares of Kentucky. “We are very pleased to be continuing our relationship with them as we work together to serve the health and well-being of our communities.”
