Willamette Dental Group Promotes Kristen Simmons as Chief Operating Officer

HILLSBORO, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kristen Simmons, MHA, BSDH, RDH was recently promoted to Chief Operating Officer of Willamette Dental Group. In this new role, Simmons will oversee all operations for the family of companies that make up Willamette Dental Group, which provides a combination of dental care services, dental insurance, and business management and administrative services in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho.

Prior to this promotion, Simmons led Clinical Strategy & Development for the company, most recently as Vice President of Strategy & Professional Development. She has been involved in clinical leadership for the company since 1994. With this proven leadership experience, Simmons will ensure a corporate focus on achieving Willamette Dental Group’s mission to deliver proactive patient care through a partnership with our patients to stop the disease-repair cycle by mean of evidence-based methods of prevention and treatment.

As a registered dental hygienist, Simmons brings an extensive clinical background to the Operations of Willamette Dental Group. After practicing as a dental hygienist for over 10 years in dental practices throughout Illinois, Texas and Oregon, Simmons earned a Bachelors degree in dental hygiene from Eastern Washington University and a Masters degree in Healthcare Administration from Pacific University.
