Digi-Key Corporation and E Ink Sign Global Distribution Agreement

THIEF RIVER FALLS, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Global electronic components distributor Digi-Key Corporation, the industry leader in electronic component selection, availability and delivery, today announced a global distribution agreement with E Ink. This partnership allows Digi-Key to offer E-Ink’s innovative, standard segmented displays to their worldwide customer base.

Unique to the industry, the E Ink’s electronic paper displays (EPD) offer ultra-low power performance, a small form factor, and rugged operation. The reflective display technology used in EPDs allows display of an image even with no power connected. This enables engineers and designers to add displays to products where power and space limitations have made it impossible to do so in the past.
