Kofax Mobile Capture for Driver Licenses allows organizations to deploy mobile apps that permit or require individuals to use cameras in mobile devices to include “process ready” images of driver licenses along with other information being submitted. The solution ensures “process ready” images by leveraging Kofax’s patented VRS image enhancement software on the mobile device but for security purposes does not store the driver license image. Once the image is submitted, the solution automatically extracts and perfects the name, address and other content in the driver license before making the image and data available for downstream processing needs.
