Paul Caan and Eric Shenker Fill Key Leadership Roles in Core Growth Business

STAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CRT Capital Group LLC (“CRT”), an independent institutional broker-dealer based in Stamford, Connecticut, today announced that it has hired Paul Caan as Head of Equity Research Sales and Eric Shenker as Head of Equity Trading.

As Head of Equity Research Sales, Mr. Caan will lead a team of experienced sales professionals and work closely with CRT’s industry leading research team to broaden the firm’s reach and offerings to institutional clients. As the Head of Equity Trading, Mr. Shenker will oversee CRT’s equities trading operations, which has an established reputation for providing clients with timely market insight and best-in-class order execution.

Messrs. Caan and Shenker bring considerable experience from top-tier institutions. Prior to joining CRT, Mr. Caan spent over 20 years with Credit Suisse’s top-ranked U.S. equity sales unit. Mr. Shenker was most recently at AllianceBernstein, after serving in senior leadership positions for the equity trading units at Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley.
