LOS ANGELES--()--Linda A. Livingstone, dean and professor of management at Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business and Management, of Malibu, CA., has been elected vice chair-chair elect of the AACSB Board of Directors by the membership of AACSB International. AACSB International (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) is the premier accreditation body for institutions offering undergraduate, master’s and doctorate degrees in business and accounting.

Dean Livingstone will serve as vice chair effective July 1, 2013 and then advance to chair in summer 2014. The following year she will continue in a transitional role as immediate past chair through the conclusion of her term in June 2016.

Dr. Livingstone has served as the dean of Pepperdine University Graziadio School of Business and Management since 2002. She oversaw a $200 million expansion of the business school's regional campuses, grown the school's international partnerships to include 40 business schools around the world, and led the school to become a signatory to the Principles for Responsible Management Education.
Under her leadership, the business school established the E2B (Education to Business) Live Case Program, which partners students and companies on finding solutions to strategic issues; launched the C-Level lecture program Dean's Executive Leadership Series, and added an online MBA to the school’s portfolio of programs, as well as new graduate degree programs in Accounting, Management and Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Applied Finance, and Global Business.
Dean Livingstone serves as Secretary Treasurer of the Board of Directors of Beta Gamma Sigma, the international honor society for business programs. She received her B.S., M.B.A., and Ph.D. from Oklahoma State University, who will be honoring Dean Livingstone in the fall as its inaugural recipient of the Outstanding PhD Alumnus Award.
