Key Research Confirms Toshiba's 13-year Long Market Leadership in the A3 MFP Market in China

SHANGHAI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Toshiba, the global leaders in printing and imaging products, solutions and services, has for the 13th consecutive year retained its position as market leader in the A3 MFP Product Category in China, according to regional industry analysts Key Research Company.

"China's economic growth could be over 8 percent this year. China's economy supports a very large part of global demand," Senior Industry Analysts told Reuters recently. Full year growth in the world's second biggest economy rose to 7.8 percent in 2012.

Interestingly, the A3 MFP market in China stood at 507,300 units in 2012, a 4 percent decline from 2011 according to Key Research. Although the Color MFP devices grew 19 percent in sales units, the monochrome devices suffered a decline of 6 percent compared to last year.

Toshiba maintained its leadership in the China A3 MFP market with a market share of 17.9 percent, ranking unrivalled at No. 1 since 2000.

Leading market analysts in the APEC region Key Research put Toshiba at the top of the league table of MFP solution providers in China, the company now for the 13th year in a row confirming is strong market position in the world's second largest economy.
