Eventseeker is a free app for iPhones. It is available at the Apple App Store and on the web at eventseeker.com. Eventseeker can be used as a standalone app to search for events, buy tickets, and follow artists, or users can log into eventseeker via Facebook to take advantage of the app’s social capabilities. Through its unique passive personalization, eventseeker scans a user’s Facebook account to understand the person’s interests, such as their taste in music, their favorite sports teams, events they’ve attended, and artists they’re following. The app also scans the music library on a user’s mobile device for additional information about the user’s preferences. This allows eventseeker to serve up targeted alerts and recommendations about upcoming events.

Eventseeker’s smart technology enables the app to identify and recommend friends in a user’s social network who have similar interests, making it fast and simple for the user to invite those people to upcoming events.
