SALT LAKE CITY--()--Dirty Girl Mud Run, the original women-only national mud run series, is coming to Salt Lake City on Saturday, April 27, 2013. An untimed, wild and fun obstacle course that welcomes women of all ages and athletic abilities, Dirty Girl Mud Run challenges women to break from their routine for a day, get out of their comfort zones, get dirty, and accomplish something brand new.
Dirty Girl Mud Run attracts thousands of women in each city it stops in, and a half a million women are expected to participate in events across the country in 2013. Participants can expect excitement, laughter and camaraderie—as well as lots of music, refreshments, and a complimentary drink. Dirty Girl believes in providing women with a challenging and empowering environment to achieve new levels in life‐confidence while having fun and bonding with loved ones. From start to finish, the Dirty Girl Mud Run in Salt Lake City will be an unforgettable event and an incredible team-building experience.
Women aged 14 and up can participate in Dirty Girl events. Entry fee is $65-$100, depending on how far in advance you register.
Running for a good cause: Dirty Girl donated more than $250,000 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF), its official partner, in 2012, and aims to deliver $500,000 in support by the end of 2013. Cancer survivors always run for free.
