As a part of the employee expansion, the company appointed Jed Alpert as Vice President of Marketing. In this role, Alpert oversees all marketing efforts and plays an instrumental role in elevating 1010data’s brand awareness in the retail, financial services, CPG and telecom verticals. Alpert, formerly the managing director of global marketing at PerTrac, has more than 15 years of enterprise technology and B2B marketing experience.
2012 growth metrics include:
- Expanded Client Relationships and User Base: During 2012, 1010data added more than 80 new customers; user growth nearly doubled. 1010data now works with the five largest consumer food companies and four of the five largest US banks.
- Platform Updates and Product Launches: The 1010data platform had 25 production releases in 2012. In addition, the company launched several new products including the Analytical Dataspace (the first cloud based facility where organizations can analyze, share and monetize big data), an advanced statistical suite, customer-specific version control, and a modeling wizard.
- Industry Accolades: 1010data was positioned in the Challengers Quadrant of Gartner's 2013 Magic Quadrant for Data Warehouse Database Management Systems and included as a vendor to consider by Gartner in the 2013 Magic Quadrant for Business Intelligence and Analytics Platforms.
