A renowned figure in sports broadcasting, the “Fuse” as he was affectionately called by fans across the globe, passed away in June at the age of 68. Though he is most well-known for his tenure on “This Week in Baseball,” Warner Fusselle, had a long and storied career announcing for many minor league teams, most recently the Brooklyn Cyclones. Fusselle also produced two baseball music albums, authored “Baseball, a Laughing Matter”, and starred in the 1992 film, “The Bad Lieutenant”.
Now, his personal collection of signed baseballs, vintage movie posters, baseball sheet music, vintage sports related movie posters, years of handwritten statistics, “This Week in Baseball” tapes, and a massive collection of sports related books, magazines and memorabilia will be available for live online bidding in this auction.
