Laboratorio Varifarma Chooses AP Automation via Esker to Launch Business Advancements

The Esker solution, integrated with the Laboratorio Varifarma’s newly adopted ERP software package (Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains), will streamline vendor invoicing while putting an efficient workflow in place in order to sustain future business growth. Prior to implementation of the Esker solution, Laboratorio Varifarma had a fairly outdated AP processing method that required three full-time staff members to process 500 paper invoices per month while maneuvering through a tedious maze of manual touch points.

Actionable plans for improvement

The first step the company took to address these manual AP challenges was adopting a more modern business solution environment — this was achieved by recently implementing the ERP software package, Microsoft Dynamics GP. “We were, and still are, moving to a best practice mindset,” said Fernando Casais, Finance and Administration Manager at Laboratorio Varifarma. “Implementing this ERP was a big first step.
