OXNARD, Calif.--()--The nation’s leading provider of on-site health centers, Healthstat, Inc., has been selected as an honoree of the 24th Annual Latino Leadership Awards. Presented by El Concilio Family Services of Oxnard, Calif., Healthstat’s on-site health facility Clinica FreSalud, which serves employees of Reiter Affiliated Companies (RAC) in Oxnard, was recognized for the outstanding work of its staff and the partnership with RAC that allows them to provide affordable access to, and improve the quality of, healthcare for farm workers and their families.
Reiter Affiliated Companies is the largest fresh berry supplier in North America. Its performance directly impacts its sole customer, Driscoll Strawberry Associates (Driscoll’s).

El Concilio Family Services is a non-profit community service organization whose primary mission is to provide direct assistance and educational programs to the underserved Latino Community. The organization was founded in 1975 and now serves over 22,000 clients per year.
The Latino Leadership Awards were established in 1990 to recognize individuals or organizations that have made an outstanding contribution for the betterment of the Ventura County community. The awards ceremony will take place at a Gala Event on Friday June 7, 2013 at the Oxnard Performing Arts Center.
