DALLAS--()--Philip Higginbotham, 42, has joined Grant Thornton LLP as the firm’s national director of Analytic Solutions within the Business Advisory Services (BAS) practice, based in Dallas.
“He will be integral in augmenting existing and developing new solutions for our clients, and utilizing the firm’s advanced technologies to help them solve their most challenging business problems.”

Higginbotham has particular experience in helping dynamic companies establish leading edge prescriptive analytic and modeling capabilities across various industries, including healthcare, manufacturing, retail and utilities. He also has experience in management and restructuring consulting, assisting in the reorganization of financially distressed companies.
Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Higginbotham served as vice president of strategy and vice president of business development for River Logic Inc., a start-up software company, where he developed a market for integrated business planning and advanced analytics. In that role, he helped steer the market’s adoption of Enterprise Optimizer® as a leading modeling and analytics platform. Previously, he served as a manager in the Restructuring practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers and as a senior consultant in the Operations practice of Deloitte Consulting.
He received a master’s of business administration from the NYU Stern School of Business, and bachelor’s degrees in civil engineering and finance from Clemson University.
