Contegix Sources Equipment From Local Suppliers During Data Center Construction

ST. LOUIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Contegix®, a cloud computing, colocation and managed hosting company that empowers customers by providing Go Beyond^TM support, today announced that it is renewing its commitment to the St. Louis business community by sourcing as much equipment as possible from local IT companies during the construction of its new data center. Local businesses such as Falcon Technologies, Tried and True Communications, and Show-Me Cables have been tapped to supply materials and services for the new Contegix data center at 210 North Tucker Boulevard in St. Louis.

Falcon Technologies and Show-Me Cables are supplying cabinets, PDUs, Fiber optics cabling, Fiber bulkheads, Fiber panels, patch cables, patch panels, cable organizers, RJ-45 tips, velcro, electrical tape, electrical cord, labelers and labels. Tried and True Communications is providing various data center build-out services such as assisting with large cable runs, cabinet installation, and running armored fiber, innerduct and jumpers. In addition to the materials and services sourced from the aforementioned companies, the data center also includes electrical equipment from Emerson and is maintained by local electrical companies, Guarantee Electric and National Electric.

Construction of the Contegix data center, located in the newly renovated Digital Realty Trust building, is continuing and expected to be complete by the end of April.
