In his leadership role, Hank will be responsible for the management, development and execution of underwriting strategies and objectives that will contribute to the achievement of profitable growth in support of the organization’s objectives. Hank will focus his efforts on building customer relationships and driving underwriting profitability, developing an agreed vision of excellence within the business that creates customer value, creating comprehensive plans, balancing all relevant factors including profit targets, effective use of resources, people, systems, risks and strategic and operational goals, while supporting and coordinating the creation and maintenance of effective underwriting guidelines.

Hank joins NBIS from Farmers Union Insurance, a member of QBE Insurance Group Limited, Australia’s largest international general insurance and reinsurance group, most recently serving as Regional Vice President. Prior to that role, Hank held the position of Regional Commercial Lines Manager with Unigard Insurance Co, also a QBE Regional company. Hank comes to NBIS with 25+ years of insurance experience in areas of management, marketing, personal lines, farm and ranch, agriculture, and commercial underwriting.
