Jackson DeMarco Tidus Peckenpaugh Adds Southern California Super Lawyer Gregory G. Petersen as Shareholder

IRVINE, Calif.--(EON:Enhanced Online News)--Jackson | DeMarco | Tidus | Peckenpaugh announced today that Gregory G. Petersen has joined the firm as a named shareholder. Mr. Petersen, recently named as a Southern California Super Lawyer by Los Angeles Magazine and Law and Politics Media, Inc., will chair the firm’s newly established Complex Litigation Group. The firm’s name will change to Jackson | DeMarco | Tidus | Petersen | Peckenpaugh. Several attorneys from Castle, Petersen & Krause are also expected to join Mr. Petersen at Jackson | DeMarco | Tidus | Petersen | Peckenpaugh.

Previously, Mr. Petersen was the managing partner with Castle, Petersen & Krause, LLP, a Newport Beach law firm that handles business law and employment law litigation matters. Over much of the past 25 years, Mr. Petersen has focused on wage and hour law, serving as lead counsel in a number of complex cases related to the FLSA and California labor law. In the pursuit of constitutional claims, he has handled cases dealing with regulatory law and administrative law issues, including successfully arguing for his corporate and individual clients that various laws, rules and/or regulations were unlawful. In a notable defense, Mr. Petersen defended the Los Angeles Municipal Court in a case where he prevailed in the United States Supreme Court for the judiciary clients.
