Innercircle.cc Makes It Easier to Connect and Share Things With Personal Groups via Email
Free Utility Enables Users to Email Entire Groups Using a Single Email Address
SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(EON:Enhanced Online News)--Innercircle.cc today announced the launch of their free email utility that makes it easier for users to connect and share things with groups of friends, family members, coworkers, etc., using a single email address such as family@johndoe.innercircle.cc.
“We want to make it really easy for people to coordinate group events, share photos and news stories, tell each other about new products and services, or just keep in touch. We already have some coaches and teachers using Innercircle.cc to communicate with parents on a daily basis”
“This is far more than just a distribution list feature you might find in your email client. Innercircle.cc users can email their groups from anyplace they can enter an email address. Whether it’s from Outlook or web-based email, photo sharing or news sites, tell-a-friend links, or an iPhone, the beauty of the service is that it works anywhere,” said Raj Lalwani, Founder and CEO.
Unlike Yahoo! or Google Groups, Innercircle.cc is designed with convenience and control in mind. A user can create several groups (or “innercircles”) without worrying about finding a unique name across all users. And a user can set up innercircles for private use or open them up to the members of that innercircle so they can all share things with each other using the same innercircle.cc email address.
To use the service, individuals need to register for a free account at www.innercircle.cc and set up their innercircles by entering or importing their recipients’ email addresses.
A more private way for interacting with inner circles of friends, family and coworkers
“Social networking sites like MySpace and Facebook are too public for most activities with one’s inner circle of friends, family and coworkers. While such sites are useful for meeting new people or reconnecting with old contacts, most interactions with such inner circles occur over email. Innercircle.cc turns email into a killer social app,” said Lalwani.
“We want to make it really easy for people to coordinate group events, share photos and news stories, tell each other about new products and services, or just keep in touch. We already have some coaches and teachers using Innercircle.cc to communicate with parents on a daily basis,” added David Jordan, cofounder and Director of User Experience.
