Breakthrough Development Model Released

BOSTON & NEW CANAAN, Conn.--(EON:Enhanced Online News)--McCreight & Company, in conjunction with Cambria Consulting has released their guide to successful project management focused on creating customer value in new, difficult, or untested situations. “Breakthrough Development: A Concept and Process,” is chapter 18 of McCreight’s publication series, Strategy Implementation Insights, and is available as a free download from www.implementstrategy.com or www.cambriaconsulting.com.

“By definition, delivering a breakthrough is delivering something that has never been done before. Therefore, breakthrough development initiatives should not be considered a training appointment for fledgling team members.” McCreight pointed out.

McCreight added, “Because of the nontraditional freedom and charter to act quickly, not everyone can be successful in a breakthrough development environment. When constituting a team, senior leaders need to deliberately define competency requirements for the challenges presented by the breakthrough.” The Breakthrough Development Model will be described in detail in a book to be released this summer.
