“Millions of people are suffering and have been displaced by the wide-spread destruction of Haiti’s recent earthquake,” said Robert A. Niblock, Lowe’s chairman and CEO. “Among those millions are the families and friends of many of our customers and employees. Lowe’s customers have always been extremely generous in responding to disaster relief efforts, so we are asking them to once again partner with us by contributing one dollar at a time to help our international neighbors begin the recovery process.”

In addition, the American Red Cross is deploying six disaster management specialists to the disaster zone to help coordinate relief.
