REACH Call Accelerates Growth Through Direct Channels and Partnerships
Company adds sixteen hospitals to telemedicine network
AUGUSTA, Ga.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--REACH Call, the leading web-based portal for telemedicine services, is accelerating the growth of its network, both through its direct channels and through its telemedicine ecosystem partnerships.
“With our automated data collection capabilities, we are also seeing increased system utilization as users become more familiar with the technology and experience success both clinically and economically. This leads to greater self-sustainability for the telemedicine solution, one of our key goals for our customers.”
REACH Call is bringing in new networks such as Greenville Hospital System (GHS) which came on-line in March with 4 spokes (i.e. hospitals that refer to a hub like GHS for neurological expertise). Furthermore, established hubs like Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and Medical College of Georgia (MCG) have recently added 5 spokes and 3 spokes, respectively. MCG and MUSC are the largest telestroke networks in the U.S. Stroke Belt.
“We’re seeing a marked acceleration of telemedicine adoption. A successful hub becomes a magnet for other spokes that need help, and the success just builds upon itself,” said Nirav Desai, Vice President of Business Development and Marketing. “With our automated data collection capabilities, we are also seeing increased system utilization as users become more familiar with the technology and experience success both clinically and economically. This leads to greater self-sustainability for the telemedicine solution, one of our key goals for our customers.”
In addition, through its partnerships with NeuroCall and GlobalMedia, REACH Call is bringing time-critical neurological expertise and decision support to several HCA hospitals in both Florida and Texas.
“It’s exciting to see our vision of the telemedicine ecosystem continue to bear fruit,” added Desai. “REACH Call’s user-friendly teleneurology modules, along with NeuroCall’s neurology call services and GlobalMedia’s video-conferencing technology, provide a complete telemedicine solution to address the shortage of neurological expertise at these facilities.”
