Sattui Winery announces the launch of a free dedicated mobile phone application (app) compatible with iPhone and Android that can be downloaded from http://road.ie/sattui. V. Sattui is one of the first California wineries to offer an app with ‘push’ technology. “Once you’ve loaded the app, you can opt-in to notifications from the winery,” explains Claudette Shatto, the winery’s VP, Marketing. V. Sattui partnered with the firm Mobile Roadie, based in Los Angeles. “We used Mobile Roadie at the recommendation of Chris Oggenfuss of Oggenfuss Wine Marketing,” adds Tom Davies, the winery’s President. “This app is a tool to make our wines more accessible to consumers. This is just going to be one more way for V. Sattui Winery’s customers to connect with us. It's important for us to continue to be on the cutting edge of all the latest mobile media and social media trends. Whether it’s learning about our wines, viewing videos or linking to information about events at the winery, this app makes it easy,” Davies says. The next release of the app will allow customers to purchase wine and tickets for events.

“For a limited time, we will promote the introduction of our app by offering a complimentary tasting to customers at the winery who can demonstrate that they have downloaded our app on their phone,” explains Ben Rotnicki, the winery’s Director of Direct to Consumer Marketing & CRM.
