BOSTON (Business Wire EON) April 18, 2008 -- Ronald Trahan Associates (RTA) Inc. announced today the availability of several podcasts at www.AutologousAdultStemCells.org that show how clinicians and researchers from around the world are using autologous adult stem cells to treat cardiovascular, orthopedic and vascular indications at a patients point-of-care.

With last nights airing on Nightline of the use of adult stem cells for difficult orthopedic procedures coming on the heels of a recently announced $250 million federal government initiative to fund adult stem cell therapies for treating injured troops returning from Iraq and Afghanistan, the publics interest in these important cells is high.

News Image Until recently, it has been difficult to process and concentrate a clinically significant dose of adult stem cells from a patients own bone marrow at the point-of-care. The podcasts discuss how physicians are making use of new technology to overcome this hurdle.

Since 1992, Ronald Trahan Associates (RTA) Inc. has been providing public relations and investor relations counsel and services to big and small companies, both public and private, in the Life Sciences industry.
