AOL Launches New Services in Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Venezuela
Localized Content and Services Expand AOL’s
Presence in Latin America
NEW YORK & MIAMI (Business Wire EON) June 24, 2008 --
AOL today launched dedicated Web sites serving Argentina, Chile,
Colombia and Venezuela, providing consumers access to localized versions
of AOL’s products and services as well as
local language content. Among the features are free email with unlimited
storage, instant messaging, the Winamp Media Player, as well as
relevant, regional content related to news, sports, celebrities, games
and more. In addition, AOL will leverage its worldwide distribution
partnership with HP to deliver co-branded, local language portals for
these four Latin American countries.
