Jonathan Peters Named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in
Restaurant Operations
GREELEY, Colo. (Business Wire EON) June 7, 2007 --
Jonathan Peters, vice president of operations for Mother Lode
Properties, which has the rights for expansion of IHOP restaurants, has
been named Cambridge Who’s Who Professional of
the Year in restaurant operations. While inclusion in Cambridge Who’s
Who Registry is an honor, only one member in each discipline is named
the Cambridge Who’s Who Professional of the
Year. The Cambridge Who’s Who selection
committee picks these Who’s Who honorees based
on their accomplishments, academic achievement, leadership and service.
As vice president of operations for Mother Lode Properties, Peters
oversees an array of concerns including developing business plans for
business operations, administering budgets, assessing spending and
implementing strategies to improve profit margins. He also directs field
operations, mentors employee development, manages human resources and
oversees management training programs. In addition, Peters performs
financial analysis, researches price points and product selection and
contributes to menu design. IHOP restaurants provide moderately priced,
high-quality foods and beverages to customers in a relaxing atmosphere.
Peters received his MBA from the University of New Mexico in 1986 and is
pursuing his Ph.D. He received project management training certification
from Villanova University in 2001 and has been featured in articles on
restaurant operations in Convenience Store News. Peters received a Best
of the Best Performance Award for restaurant operations and a Master of
Ceremonies VIP Award for marketing excellence.
