Valet to be Key Component of Patient Satisfaction at Albert
Einstein Medical Center
BEVERLY, Mass. & PHILADELPHIA (Business Wire EON) April 3, 2008 --
Warm smiles and orange jackets are now the norm for patients and
visitors using valet service at Albert Einstein Healthcare Network’s
major facilities. Since being selected to take over operations from a
previous provider at the beginning of March, Curbside, Inc.’s
attendants have valet parked over 17,000 cars and welcomed even more
patients and visitors. Curbside is also running the network’s
shuttle service and garages both at Einstein at Elkins Park and the
medical center.
“We selected Curbside, Inc. for its
customer-focused philosophy and experience in working with leading
healthcare facilities. The partnership between Curbside and AEMC will
enable us to continue our commitment to providing the highest quality of
care to our patients. It is just one more way to ensure patient
satisfaction,” said Russ Jones, Einstein’s
Director of Protective Services.
“Curbside is thrilled to have been chosen to
provide valet, garage management, and shuttle services for the network,”
said John Udelson, CEO of Curbside, Inc. “Our
goal is to ensure that every patient, visitor, and employee is provided
a warm greeting and a helping hand. We understand that patients may be
overwhelmed or anxious when they arrive at a hospital and that it is
often our staff that they look to first for assistance –
we take this responsibility very seriously.”
Valet is provided at all three of the medical center’s
major entrances (Moss at Tabor, Willowcrest, and Tower Lobby) as well as
MossRehab and Einstein at Elkins Park.
