Environmental Service Professionals, Inc. to Launch 4,000 News Spots
“ESP Mold and Moisture
Management” Call to Action for Home and
Building Owners
PALM SPRINGS, Calif. (Business Wire EON) November 27, 2007 --
Environmental Service Professionals, Inc. (OTCBB:EVSP) announced that it
launched today a national campaign in more than 200 markets to alert
homeowners and building owners to the health fallout from toxic mold.
Entitled “Environmental
Service Professionals Mold and Moisture Management,”
the 60-second news breaks will air on CNBC, CNN, CNN Headline News, Fox
News, MSNBC, The Weather Channel and Bloomberg TV at the end of the
current week. During the week of December 3, a second ESP video news
release is scheduled to air on 12 additional networks, for a total
coverage in both weeks of 15 million subscribers and airings in the Top
50 markets.
This first phase of the campaign will run through December 31. Then,
beginning in January of 2008, Clear Vision, Inc. and Fortune
Broadcasting of West Hollywood, California, creators and producers of
the campaign, will run 20,000 spots over the following six months.
“As the field reporter in the video states,
toxic mold is one of the foremost environmental crises of the 21st
century,” noted Edward L. Torres, Chairman and
CEO of Environmental Service Professionals (ESP). “Just
this year, the Minister
of Health Canada published residential indoor air quality guidelines
and stated that exposure to indoor mold is associated with an
increased prevalence of asthma-related symptoms and that health risks
depend on exposure and, for asthma symptoms, on allergic sensitization.
Moreover, the Mayo Clinic
estimated in 1999 that there were more than 40 million Americans
suffering from chronic sinus infections, and that 38 million of
these cases were caused by molds.
“We’re not just
pointing out a high-priority problem; we offer a solution. The way to
avoid a mold-contaminated home or office is to cure the underlying cause
by detecting water intrusion before it becomes a significant issue.
Through our certified annual inspections, the early detection of
moisture-related issues and/or microbial growth can be addressed when
the problems are small and easy to remediate,”
Mr. Torres concluded.
ESP offers a suite of environmental services: allergen screening, mold
testing, moisture management program, neighborhood environment reports,
